Qatar Airways has announced an expansion of its Pakistan services and the addition of several new routes later this year. Starting June 1, the Doha-based carrier will raise its flight frequency to Pakistan by 60 percent, operating a total of 28 weekly flights.
Specifically, flights from Doha (DO) to Karachi (KHI) will grow from one daily service to two daily services. Service to Lahore (LHE) will increase from four weekly flights to seven weekly flights. Flights to Peshawar (PEW) will rise from two to three weekly services. These changes aim to strengthen connectivity between Doha and Pakistan’s major cities, better accommodating both business and leisure travel demand.
In addition to the Pakistan frequency increases, Qatar Airways will introduce two new international routes. Service to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (ADD) will commence on Sept. 18, offering passengers another convenient connection between the Middle East and East Africa. Later in the year, the airline will begin flights to Clark International Airport (CRK) in the Philippines on Oct. 28. Qatar Airways already operates twice-daily flights to Manila (MNL); the new Clark route is expected to enhance the carrier’s network in Greater Manila and provide improved access to northern Luzon.
Qatar Airways’ network growth reflects a broader strategy to expand regional and long-haul connectivity. Increasing frequencies to Pakistan and adding destinations in Africa and the Philippines will give travelers more options and flexibility while supporting trade and tourism links between these regions and Qatar.
The airline’s schedule updates will be reflected on official booking channels once the new services are fully launched. Passengers traveling to or from the affected destinations should check flight times and availability as the start dates approach, and consider booking early to secure preferred itineraries.
