Outrigger Mauritius Resort and Spa has opened its doors to guests this week. The 181-room, all-sea-view resort marks Outrigger’s first property in the Indian Ocean and represents the company’s 45th hotel either operating or in development across eight countries.

The Republic of Mauritius lies about 1,200 miles off Africa’s southeast coast. Outrigger Mauritius Resort and Spa is approximately a 45-minute drive from the island’s international airport and about 90 minutes by car from the capital city, Port Louis.
