With 89 suites, lagoon-inspired pools and panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, Olea combines contemporary Mediterranean architecture with refined Greek hospitality that responds to its natural surroundings. For 2026 the property introduces a new outdoor pool, an expanded fitness center, enhanced wellness programming and elevated culinary venues.
This season marks a dynamic, more holistic chapter for the resort.
Perched naturally on an evergreen hillside, Olea blurs the line between architecture and landscape. Rooted in a tropical modernist approach within a Mediterranean tradition, the design connects interior and exterior through waterways and natural materials that respond to the terrain and shifting light.

Water is central to Olea’s architectural vision. The estate’s winding lagoon-style pool, conceived as a large, lake-like centerpiece, threads through suites and communal areas to create fluid visual and physical links across the property. Surrounded by olive trees and native vegetation, the buildings feel as if they grow from the hillside, creating a seamless relationship with the landscape.
Interiors use natural materials such as oak, bamboo and rattan paired with a muted, earthy palette to blur transitions between inside and out. The result is a light, open atmosphere where landscape and water act as primary amenities.
New for 2026, the resort added a substantial outdoor pool and a fully equipped fitness center. Daily yoga — held in the olive grove or at the new yoga shala — along with guided breathwork and restorative rituals reflect the hotel’s focus on mindful renewal, all framed by expansive Ionian Sea views.
Expanded wellness programming is supported by attentive service and tailored retreat experiences, positioning Olea as both a tranquil hideaway and a refined destination for holistic wellbeing.

The resort’s culinary program includes three restaurants and two bars serving Mediterranean, Greek and international dishes. For 2026 the food concept emphasizes Zakynthian produce, local olive oil and fresh seafood, with menus that highlight seasonality and a sense of place. Sunset dining events, guest chef collaborations and themed culinary weeks add depth to the dining experience.
Curated excursions deepen the guest experience beyond the resort. Private boat trips to hidden coves, guided vineyard visits and other destination-led activities enable visitors to explore Zakynthos more authentically, aligning with Olea’s immersive ethos.
As interest in Greece’s Ionian islands grows, Zakynthos is emerging as a standout destination famed for its turquoise waters, dramatic limestone cliffs and verdant landscapes scented by pine and olive groves. The island offers a relaxed, authentic rhythm with unspoiled beaches, lively local culture and striking natural scenery. For the 2026 season, Olea All Suite Hotel builds on this setting, reinforcing its architectural identity and evolving as a design-minded, experience-focused retreat.
Olea All Suite Hotel’s summer season runs through October.
