Maui’s New Luxury Resort Now Accepting Reservations

The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas will open as Maui’s newest resort in summer 2017. Located on 16 oceanfront acres of North Kaanapali Beach, the 390-villa property has begun accepting reservations.

To mark the start of bookings, the resort is offering a limited-time Cyber Sale. Book between Nov. 18 and Dec. 4 to secure rates starting at $625 per night for a two-bedroom resort-view villa, a savings of up to 20 percent. The offer applies to stays from July 1 to Sept. 4, 2017. Reservations must be prepaid, are non-refundable and cannot be canceled.

“The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas will offer guests a luxurious experience rooted in Hawaiian culture and tradition,” said Angela Nolan, area managing director, Hawaii Villas, Vistana Signature Experiences. When complete, a hinai — a traditional fish basket — will be displayed at the center of the lobby. The hinai represents the stories of old Hawai‘i and the new memories guests create during their stay, symbolizing the resort’s connection to place and heritage. Taking reservations now begins the process of helping guests plan and remember their Kaanapali vacations.

The resort is designed as a relaxing haven with culturally inspired programs and authentic Hawaiian touches. Villas are available in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts and combine many comforts of home with Westin signature amenities. Master bedrooms feature king beds and en suite baths with showers, bathtubs and vanities. Living areas include armoires, queen sofa sleepers and private furnished lanais, while villas are fully equipped with kitchens, washers and dryers for extended stays and family travel.

On-site amenities emphasize leisure and family-friendly experiences. The property features an expansive lagoon-style swimming pool, a children’s beach pool and play area, oceanfront cabanas and a fitness studio. Dining at the resort’s full-service restaurant, Mauka Makai Restaurant, highlights farm-to-table fare and honors the farming and fishing traditions of ancient Hawai‘i, bringing locally inspired cuisine to guests.
