Mastercard and Boingo Partner to Offer Unlimited Airport Wi‑Fi Access

Mastercard and Boingo Wireless are teaming up to offer travelers a valuable perk: fast, global Wi‑Fi access. As connectivity becomes essential for modern travel, eligible Mastercard cardholders can enjoy unlimited access to more than one million premium Boingo hotspots worldwide.

“We want to provide our cardholders benefits and rewards that matter to them,” said Francis Hondal, president, loyalty & engagement, Mastercard. “That means enhancing experiences they love, like travel, with benefits that reflect increasingly mobile lifestyles. With Boingo, we’re helping Mastercard cardholders stay connected whenever they want, wherever they go.”

Boingo’s award‑winning Wi‑Fi network spans six continents and covers airports, hotels, restaurants, cafés and stadiums. Travelers can also find Boingo connectivity on select flights. The Boingo Wi‑Finder app helps users locate hotspots with an interactive map, allowing searches by city or region for quick, convenient access.

“Connectivity is critical for travelers, and Wi‑Fi is one of the most requested travel amenities,” said Dawn Callahan, chief marketing officer, Boingo. “This Boingo benefit strengthens Mastercard’s loyalty offerings by keeping cardholders connected while they’re on the move.”

The global Wi‑Fi benefit is available through more than 150 Mastercard issuers across 45 countries. Once enrolled, cardholders can connect up to four devices simultaneously without worrying about data caps or roaming fees, making it easier to work, stream or stay in touch while traveling.

For improved security and seamless access, Boingo supports Passpoint, a next‑generation hotspot technology that includes public Wi‑Fi encryption. Passpoint simplifies the connection process by automatically linking compatible devices to secure Wi‑Fi networks without manual logins or passwords, providing a safer and more streamlined online experience.

Cardholders interested in confirming eligibility or enrolling in the benefit should check their issuer’s rewards portal or contact their card provider for details.
