Loews Hotels & Resorts has rebranded the 155-room Mandarin Oriental San Francisco as the Loews Regency San Francisco and announced a new luxury brand, Loews Regency, which will include the Loews Regency San Francisco and the iconic Loews Regency New York.
Designed to blend upscale comforts with a personal touch, the Loews Regency brand highlights three defining qualities: location—properties situated in the most desirable neighborhoods of each destination; service—approachable luxury with attentive, warm, and personalized service; and energy—lively public spaces such as vibrant lobby bars and lounges that create a welcoming social atmosphere.
“The Loews Regency San Francisco coupled with the iconic Loews Regency New York allows us to develop a new brand that really concentrates on customers looking for an intimate luxury experience,” said Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts.
Positioned in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District, the Loews Regency San Francisco occupies the top floors of the city’s third-tallest office tower, offering sweeping, uninterrupted views of the city and the bay. The hotel features 155 guestrooms, the Brasserie S&P restaurant, a newly introduced spa, and more than 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
With the introduction of the Loews Regency brand, Loews Hotels & Resorts now operates three distinct collections: Loews Hotels & Resorts, The OE Collection, and the new Loews Regency brand, each aimed at delivering a tailored luxury experience for different traveler preferences.
