Korean Air has opened a new lounge at Los Angeles International Airport for Prestige and first-class passengers, as well as SkyTeam members.
Situated on the fifth floor of LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge seats 305 and provides a range of premium amenities. Highlights include four private rooms for quiet relaxation, dedicated shower booths for freshening up between flights, and a balcony that offers panoramic views across the terminal. A drawing of Changdeok Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, marks the lounge entrance and reflects the airline’s cultural ties.
The new facility complements Korean Air’s long-haul operations from Los Angeles. The airline currently operates an Airbus A380 on the Los Angeles route twice daily. In May, Korean Air will introduce a second A380 service from New York, making it the only carrier to operate double daily A380 flights to Asia from both U.S. coasts.
Passengers can expect a calm, well-appointed space designed for both work and relaxation, with seating options and services tailored to travelers in premium cabins and SkyTeam elite members. The location within the Tom Bradley International Terminal provides convenient access to many international departures and a comfortable environment for pre-flight preparation.
For travelers who value privacy, the lounge’s private rooms offer secluded seating and a quieter atmosphere. The shower facilities are intended to help long-haul passengers arrive at their destination feeling refreshed, while the balcony offers a pleasant spot to watch activity in the terminal and enjoy natural light before boarding.
Korean Air’s expanded A380 schedule underscores the carrier’s focus on transpacific connectivity and premium onboard experience. By increasing widebody frequency from key U.S. gateways, the airline aims to better serve business and leisure travelers seeking nonstop service between major U.S. cities and Asia.
This new lounge adds to LAX’s selection of international carrier facilities and reflects ongoing investments by airlines to improve the airport experience for high-tier passengers and SkyTeam alliance members.
