JetBlue Reveals New Domestic and International Routes for 2026

JetBlue Airways will launch new nonstop service between Port-au-Prince, Haiti (PAP) and two U.S. cities—New York (JFK) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL)—beginning Dec. 5. The airline plans daily flights to New York using its Airbus A320 aircraft, which provide 150 seats, and two daily round-trip flights to Fort Lauderdale operated with Embraer 190 aircraft configured with 90 seats. This expansion marks Port-au-Prince as JetBlue’s 82nd destination.

With this addition, JetBlue further strengthens its presence in the Caribbean market. The carrier is already the largest airline by capacity in both Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, offering more flights to and within those territories than any other airline. The new Port-au-Prince routes aim to improve connectivity for travelers between Haiti and key U.S. gateways, serving both leisure and visiting friends and relatives traffic.

Passengers flying the A320 between Port-au-Prince and New York can expect the single-aisle jet’s standard JetBlue cabin layout and amenities, while travelers on the Embraer 190 between Port-au-Prince and Fort Lauderdale will experience a smaller regional jet designed for frequent, short-haul service. The schedule’s combination of daily and twice-daily frequencies is intended to provide flexibility for business and leisure travelers alike.

JetBlue’s network strategy in the Caribbean focuses on frequent, reliable service to major population centers in the region and the United States. Adding PAP to the roster of nonstop U.S. gateways supports travel and commerce between Haiti and the U.S., offering more direct options and reducing the need for connections. As the airline continues to expand, these routes may help stimulate tourism and make travel more convenient for members of the Haitian diaspora.

Travelers interested in these new routes should check JetBlue’s official booking channels for the most current schedules, fares, and any travel requirements. As always, flight times, aircraft assignments, and frequencies can be subject to change based on operational considerations, demand, and seasonal adjustments.
