Jet Airways Expands Gulf Routes: New Destinations & Schedules

Jet Airways has launched a new daily service connecting Hyderabad with Abu Dhabi, strengthening links between the Indian city and the Gulf. The route operates between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, using Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft configured in two classes.

Jet Airways said the new Hyderabad–Abu Dhabi service will offer passengers convenient onward connections through its strategic partner, Etihad Airways, to destinations across the Gulf, North America, Europe and Africa. Gaurang Shetty, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Jet Airways, commented that the carrier is pleased to add this daily frequency to its network, expanding travel options for guests traveling to and from Abu Dhabi.

Prior to this addition, the airline operated daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Delhi (DEL), Kochi (COK) and Chennai (MAA), and maintained 11 weekly frequencies from Mumbai (BOM) to Abu Dhabi. The new Hyderabad link further broadens Jet Airways’ presence on the India–Gulf market and enhances connectivity for business and leisure travelers.

Travelers on the Hyderabad–Abu Dhabi route can expect Jet Airways’ two-class onboard service aboard the 737-800 NG, which typically combines a premium cabin and an economy cabin to meet a range of passenger needs. With the partnership network in place, passengers gain smoother connections and more seamless transfer options when continuing journeys beyond Abu Dhabi.

This new service is positioned to benefit both leisure travelers visiting the region and business travelers who rely on regular, daily schedules. By adding Hyderabad to its Abu Dhabi services, the airline aims to support growing demand for direct, reliable links between southern India and the Gulf.
