Hyatt Expands Wellness Offerings With New Spa and Retreat Experiences

Hyatt is expanding its commitment to guest health and wellbeing by acquiring the boutique wellness company Exhale. The move adds Exhale’s expertise in spa treatments and fitness programming to Hyatt’s growing portfolio of wellness offerings.

Exhale operates 25 locations that combine boutique fitness classes with full-service spa treatments. Hyatt plans to incorporate many of these services and program elements into its hotel properties, bringing curated, wellness-focused experiences directly to guests.

Immediate changes may be limited; guests won’t necessarily see Exhale-branded services at all Hyatt properties right away. However, Hyatt already provides comparable wellness benefits at properties such as Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa and Miraval Oasis, suggesting a roadmap for how Exhale’s concepts could be integrated across the brand.

The acquisition reflects a larger trend in travel: an increasing number of hotel brands are investing in wellness. Wellness-focused hotels prioritize fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, and restorative spa services to deliver a holistic guest experience that supports physical and mental wellbeing during travel.

By adding Exhale’s boutique fitness and spa model to its offerings, Hyatt aims to enhance guest satisfaction and meet growing demand for health-centered travel experiences. Over time, travelers can expect more consistent access to curated classes, spa services, and mindfulness programming at Hyatt properties worldwide.
