“We are thrilled to welcome travelers to their nurturing home away from home in our new Beachfront Villas,” said Harry Hartman, owner and general manager of Hotel Nantipa – A Tico Beach Experience. “Our aim is to provide the true Tico Beach Experience, pairing barefoot luxury and the restorative qualities of the natural surroundings with attentive service in the paradise of Santa Teresa.”
Each villa spans nearly 2,000 square feet and includes a full kitchen, dining area and three bedrooms, all with ocean views and ensuite bathrooms. Two rooms feature king beds while the third offers two queen beds, accommodating families or groups comfortably. Designed with a beach-chic aesthetic, biophilic wood accents and modern conveniences, the interiors create a calm, natural atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a private outdoor deck that includes an infinity pool and direct beach access to the Nicoya Peninsula.

Villa guests have access to a 24-hour private concierge that coordinates Nantipa’s suite of services. Private fitness trainers, chefs, babysitters and mixologists can be arranged on request, tailoring each stay. The location invites a wide range of activities: world-class surfing, daily yoga, paddleboarding, scuba diving and seasonal whale watching. Nearby natural attractions include Montezuma Waterfall, Cabo Blanco National Park and the Curú Wildlife Refuge, while guided horseback rides offer another way to discover the coastline and interior trails.

Beyond comfort and activities, Nantipa emphasizes environmental stewardship and community engagement. The property features locally crafted furniture and was built using reclaimed wood, with only six trees removed during construction. Sustainability measures include a modern wastewater treatment system, solar water heaters and energy-saving sensors. These initiatives help reduce the resort’s footprint while supporting the surrounding community and preserving the natural beauty that defines this part of Costa Rica.
