From February 21 to 26, 2025, a remote island off Northern Norway will host a luxury wellness escape presented by partners Up Norway and Norwegian wellness brand InRetreat.

This February retreat begins a series led by InRetreat CEO Nina Butler and Up Norway founder and Chief Experience Officer Torunn Tronsvang. Rooted in Scandinavian wellness traditions and culture, the retreats are designed to help participants establish lasting health-promoting routines while deepening their connection to nature. Daily programming includes organic meals, yoga, guided meditation and mindfulness practices intended to support ongoing well-being long after the retreat ends.

The Manshausen Wellness Retreat in February takes place in the Steigen Archipelago, where deep, sparkling waters and rugged mountains form the backdrop. Guests stay in luxurious sea cabins at Manshausen Lodge. Daily yoga and meditation sessions draw on Norse mythology, while guided hikes, kayaking and evening sky‑watching offer chances to see the Aurora Borealis.

The Spring Wellness Retreat runs May 1 to 10 and focuses on the region’s outdoor possibilities: skiing, ski‑sailing, cultural encounters and fjord exploration. In addition to daily yoga and meditation, the itinerary includes kayaking, hiking and traditional Nordic sauna sessions followed by invigorating plunges into clear, cold fjord water. The spring program concludes in Bergen.

As the year cools, the Innhøsting Autumn Retreat: A Celebration of Norway’s Changing Seasons invites participants to experience the harvest season and Viking heritage. Daily yoga and meditation will be complemented by farm visits and hands‑on encounters with local harvest traditions, all set against the dramatic scenery of the Lofoten Islands.

Across all retreats, emphasis is placed on clean, locally sourced food, restorative movement practices and immersive cultural experiences that reflect Norway’s natural rhythms and wellness heritage. Each program is suitable for travelers seeking both relaxation and active exploration, with expert guidance to help integrate practices learned on retreat into everyday life.
