Newly opened at Grandscape in The Colony, Texas, WorldSprings Dallas sits about 20 minutes from downtown and offers a comprehensive wellness experience across a nine-acre site. The property features 46 mineral soaking pools, a variety of saunas and cold plunges, and a full-service, 12-room spa. Spa treatments were developed with input from Sara Gottfried, WorldSprings’ functional medicine physician, to support an integrated approach to health and relaxation.

“After years of dedicated planning and preparation, we are overjoyed to open our doors and contribute to the wellness and community improvement of the vibrant DFW area,” said Amelia Wohrle, general manager of WorldSprings Dallas. “Our vision is to create a welcoming space where everyone can focus on their wellness and come together to build a stronger sense of community spirit.”
The soaking pools were designed with international hot springs in mind. Experiences draw inspiration from locations such as Iceland’s Blue Lagoon, Mexico’s Grutas Tolantongo and the Dead Sea in Jordan. Guests can choose from a freshwater Globe Pool, a saline-rich Dead Sea pool, and pools modeled after Bali’s Banjar Spring, Australia’s Yarrangobilly Hot Springs, South Korea’s Osaek Springs and Italy’s Chianciano Terme.
Each pool’s water composition is tailored for specific benefits. Formulations include minerals like lithium, which can support joint comfort; potassium, associated with stress relief; silica and magnesium, known for calming effects; and bicarbonate, which can promote skin health. These blends are intended to enhance relaxation and complement complementary spa therapies.

The on-site Spa and Wellness Center offers a broad menu of services, including body therapies, targeted facials — such as the Glo2Facmia with LUX ultrasound — and a selection of massages, including lymphatic, Swedish, deep tissue and couples treatments. These services are designed to pair with the mineral baths to create a cohesive restorative experience.
“This venture represents not only a new chapter for our company but also a testament to our commitment to offering exceptional hospitality centered around making our guests feel better,” said Chris Barrett, CEO of WorldSprings. “We look forward to sharing the magic of WorldSprings with the local community.”
