Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos has announced plans to introduce Hard Rock Hotel Goa, its first property in India. Slated to open in March 2015, the new venue will be a rebranding and transformation of the existing North 16 GOA Resort into a Hard Rock boutique hotel.
The 135-room property will showcase signature Hard Rock offerings, including the Sound of Your Stay music amenity program. Guests can expect Fender guitar check-outs, access to DJ equipment and music downloads, along with live music events and regular performances on-site.
Hard Rock Hotel Goa will also include a full-service restaurant serving three meals daily, an open-air swimming pool, an outdoor courtyard with a poolside bar and grill, 24-hour room service and the Body Rock fitness facility. The hotel will house the Rock Shop, featuring the brand’s distinctive merchandise and souvenirs.
Located in the heart of Calangute, close to the region’s well-known beaches, the property sits approximately 22 miles from Goa’s airport. This opening is part of a broader expansion for the brand, which has additional projects planned or underway in destinations such as Daytona Beach, Los Cabos, Dallas-Fort Worth, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Shenzhen and Haikou.
