Etihad Adds More Flights Between Dublin and Abu Dhabi

To meet growing demand, Etihad Airways will increase its Abu Dhabi (AUH)–Dublin (DUB) service from 10 weekly flights to twice-daily operations this summer. Starting 15 July, the UAE national carrier will provide roughly 9,000 seats per week between the two capitals.

Etihad will operate the expanded schedule using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which offer 40 lie-flat business-class seats, and Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which feature 22 lie-flat business-class seats. The enhanced frequency will also improve onward connectivity across Etihad’s network, delivering around 800 weekly connections to 45 destinations across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Key onward markets accessible via Abu Dhabi include Bangkok (BKK), Beijing (PEK), Brisbane (BNE), Jakarta (CGK), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Manila (MNL), Melbourne (MEL), Perth (PER), Singapore (SIN), Sydney (SYD) and Tokyo (NRT). The schedule is designed to serve both leisure and business travellers, offering convenient transfer options in both directions.

“The 40 percent increase in flight frequency will benefit business and leisure travel not only between Ireland and the U.A.E., but also right across the Etihad Airways network, especially countries which have a connection with Ireland like Australia, Thailand and Malaysia,” said James Hogan, president and CEO of Etihad Airways.
