Ethiopian Airlines is expanding its global reach this summer with new nonstop service to Dublin, Los Angeles and Manila. The carrier recently began flights from Addis Ababa (ADD) to Dublin (DUB) and Los Angeles (LAX), and launched service from Addis Ababa to Manila (MNL) earlier this month.
Flights to Dublin and Los Angeles operate three times weekly using the airline’s modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner. These new routes establish the only direct connections between Africa and Ireland, and between Africa and the U.S. West Coast, offering important new travel options for passengers on both continents.
Passengers flying from Dublin and Los Angeles benefit from seamless onward connections across Ethiopian’s wide African network, which serves 49 destinations. The carrier’s hub in Addis Ababa provides convenient transfer times and expanded choices for travelers headed to cities across the continent.
“As part of our Vision 2025 strategic roadmap, we are growing our network and deploying the most technologically advanced aircraft to deliver an excellent travel experience and improved connectivity,” said Tewolde Gebremariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group. “Our flights to Dublin and Los Angeles are operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which enhances comfort on long-haul routes through reduced noise, higher cabin humidity, larger windows and a more spacious interior.”
With the addition of Manila, Dublin and Los Angeles, Ethiopian Airlines’ international network now reaches 90 destinations across five continents, reinforcing the carrier’s role as a major global connector.
