Emirates Unveils First Moisturizing Pajamas for Restful Skin

Emirates now offers first-class passengers an innovative sleepwear option: what the airline calls the world’s first moisturizing pajamas for overnight flights. Designed to help maintain skin hydration in dry cabin air, the grey pajama set aims to make long-haul sleep more comfortable and restorative.

Created by Matrix, the pajamas use patented hydra-active microcapsule technology. Billions of tiny microcapsules are embedded in the fabric and release naturally moisturizing sea kelp as the wearer moves. This continuous release helps keep skin feeling softer and more hydrated throughout the flight.

The sleepwear set includes coordinating slippers, an eye mask, and a pouch so passengers can take the pajamas home. The fabric is engineered to retain its moisturizing effect for up to 10 washes, allowing repeat use while preserving the intended skincare benefits. For frequent flyers affected by the dehydrating conditions of cabin air, this innovation offers a practical way to reduce dryness and improve in-flight comfort.

In addition to the moisturizing pajamas, Emirates’ first-class passengers receive luxury Bulgari amenity kits crafted from fine leather. These kits contain skincare products, lip balm, a woody floral Eau Parfumée au Thé Noir, and a faux sheepskin blanket for added comfort. The leather amenity cases are offered in charcoal grey for men and pale grey for women, with four designs available for each gender so passengers can enjoy variety on repeat journeys.

By combining functional skincare technology with high-end amenities, Emirates aims to enhance the overnight travel experience for first-class customers. The moisturizing pajamas and curated amenity kits reflect a focus on passenger wellness and comfort, addressing common concerns like cabin dryness while maintaining a premium presentation.
