Emirates Debuts Luxury Lounge at Rome Fiumicino Airport

Emirates has opened a new lounge at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport. The facility welcomes all Emirates first- and business-class passengers as well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members; Skywards Silver and Blue members can access the lounge for a fee.

Located in Terminal 3, Level 2, near gates E22 and E24, the lounge opened just before Christmas and offers runway views and direct boarding access to Emirates aircraft. The space is designed to accommodate more than 150 guests comfortably, providing a spacious and calm environment for pre-flight relaxation or work.

The lounge’s contemporary interior features leather armchairs, a mix of formal and relaxed seating, a dedicated dining area, a prayer room, and shower facilities. Curated artwork complements the modern aesthetic. Dining options include a hot-and-cold buffet with Italian-inspired dishes that reflect the destination, alongside a selection of wines and beverages.

In addition to the lounge, Emirates provides first- and business-class passengers in Rome with complimentary chauffeur services and dedicated check-in counters, aiming to deliver a seamless and luxurious experience throughout the travel day.

“This new lounge represents an investment of over $4.5 million by Emirates and underscores our commitment to offering premium and loyal customers the highest levels of comfort and convenience both on the ground and in the air,” said Mohammed Mattar, divisional senior vice president, airport services, Emirates. He added that the Rome facility brings the total number of Emirates lounges to 42, part of one of the largest airline lounge networks worldwide, with plans to open new lounges and refurbish existing ones.
