Delta Air Lines is expanding its presence in Asia with a new nonstop route from its Minneapolis–Saint Paul (MSP) hub to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, launching next year.
The service is part of an expanded partnership with Korean Air, which will give Delta customers access to more than 80 destinations across Asia and the upgraded facilities at Incheon’s Terminal 2, where Delta and Korean Air operate together.
“Delta’s future is global and adding another nonstop flight to the joint venture’s Seoul–Incheon hub with Korean Air expands on our long-term vision,” Delta CEO Ed Bastian said. “This will be a strong driver of international commerce for the Minneapolis–Saint Paul community and the State of Minnesota, while also benefiting our customers, employees and shareholders.”
Delta will operate the route using its updated Boeing 777-200ER, featuring refreshed cabins and modern amenities. The aircraft includes 28 Delta One suites, 48 Premium Select seats and 220 main cabin seats. Every seat is equipped with in-seat USB ports and 110V power, onboard Wi-Fi, and new dynamic LED lighting throughout the cabin.
Passengers departing South Korea will enjoy menus in all cabins curated by Michelin two-star Chef Kwon Woo Joong, enhancing the onboard dining experience.
