The design team — led by creative director Adam D. Tihany and including David Collins Studio, Richmond International and Sybille De Margerie — drew inspiration from both historic and contemporary influences. They defined five guiding principles for the ship’s aesthetic: heritage, craftsmanship, storytelling, style and innovation. Immersing themselves in the Cunard archives, the designers reinterpreted the line’s iconic Art Deco heritage to create a fresh yet unmistakably Cunard look.
“As we step into the next chapter of Cunard’s storied history, Queen Anne provides a platform to evolve the future of the brand and bring reimagined Cunard signature experiences to new audiences,” said Matt Gleaves, VP, commercial – North America and Australasia, Cunard. “We are confident in the North American market and believe there is significant opportunity for growth. Queen Anne will celebrate what makes Cunard so special in a way that is relevant for today’s luxury traveller, appealing to both our existing loyal guests and those sailing with us for the first time.”

Each stateroom category on Queen Anne features its own distinct palette and design language. Britannia cabins evoke the deep blue of the ocean accented with touches of gold, while bespoke wallcoverings reference the Cunard crest and laurel. Princess Grill suites introduce Cunard red balanced with warm gold tones and fine wood furnishings. The Queens Grill suites take a bolder approach, using rich purple and wood finishes to create an elegant statement. Grand and Master suites favor a more restrained palette of green, purple, taupe and grey, complemented by wood and marble accents; black-and-white photographs in the bathrooms document the ship’s construction and add a historical touch.
The naming of Queen Anne continues Cunard’s tradition of honoring queens regnant across its history. Queen Anne joins the fleet alongside names such as Queen Mary and Queen Victoria, carrying forward a legacy that blends tradition with modern luxury.
