Crystal AirCruises Unveils Luxurious Private Jet Design

Crystal AirCruises has revealed the interior design for its inaugural aircraft, a Boeing 777-200LR that will form the core of the AirCruises experience.

Launching in fall 2017, Crystal AirCruises will carry 84 guests to remote and remarkable destinations worldwide on 14-, 21- and 28-day journeys. The aircraft’s layout emphasizes personalized luxury and spacious comfort: custom-designed Crystal Exclusive Class seats that fully recline to lie-flat beds, social lounges, a stand-up bar, two divans and four dining tables. Guests will also enjoy large flat-screen TVs, butler and concierge service, and Michelin star-inspired dining paired with a carefully curated premium wine selection. As a larger, more refined alternative to private jet travel, the Boeing 777-200LR brings hotel-level amenities to the sky while enabling access to destinations beyond the reach of traditional sea routes.

“Crystal AirCruises is not just a thrilling new venture for Crystal, but a groundbreaking development in the luxury travel industry,” said Edie Rodriguez, CEO and president of Crystal. “Even seasoned travelers and guests familiar with our award-winning ocean cruises will welcome fresh opportunities to explore destinations inaccessible by water, all accompanied by Crystal’s signature personalized service and uncompromising standards of luxury throughout every phase of the journey.”

Onboard amenities are designed to enhance comfort and convenience throughout long flights. Each guest receives Bose noise-canceling headphones and an Apple iPad, and the aircraft offers WiFi connectivity. Seating areas feature 24-inch interactive screens, individual USB ports and power outlets, lumbar support, plush duvets, pillows, mattress toppers and spacious lavatories. Together these provisions deliver an in-flight environment that mirrors many of the comforts guests expect at home and in luxury hotels, ensuring a relaxed, well-appointed travel experience from takeoff to landing.
