Condor Unveils New A330neo Long-Haul Cabin, U.S. Launch This Fall

Beginning in fall 2022, U.S. travelers flying with Condor Airlines will experience the carrier’s redesigned long-haul cabins aboard its new Airbus A330neo. The aircraft features three cabins: 30 business-class seats, 64 premium economy seats and 216 economy seats. The airline expects roughly one A330neo to enter service each month this autumn as it phases out its Boeing 767 fleet.

The business-class cabin uses a 1-2-1 layout, providing 30 lie-flat seats with direct aisle access for every passenger. Seats include extra-large foot space and a 17.3-inch 4K screen that supports both touchscreen and remote control. In-flight entertainment offers movies, series, podcasts and more, delivering a modern, comfortable experience for long-haul travelers.

“With the new cabin design, we are focusing on modern elegance and the color-set creates a clear reference to our new brand identity. Our guests’ holiday begins with boarding and continues with the distinctive Condor product and first-class service,” said Ralf Teckentrup, CEO, Condor. “With that, our well-established product is complemented by an unprecedented, coherent interior design, with the highest level of comfort, the most diverse and largest in-flight entertainment program to date with an interface for your own Bluetooth headset, as well as high-speed internet connectivity for everyone on board.”

All three cabins feature high-speed broadband internet and the latest in-flight entertainment systems. Each seat includes an extra holder for mobile devices, enabling passengers to stream from their own devices in addition to using the integrated offerings. The system supports personal Bluetooth headphones, and mood lighting adjusts to match the time of day to enhance comfort and rest.

Premium economy provides nearly six inches more pitch than economy, improving legroom and comfort on longer flights. Both premium economy and economy seats include multi-adjustable headrests and footrests. Premium economy follows a 2-4-2 configuration and each seat is equipped with a 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen monitor, offering a quality personal entertainment experience across the cabin.

Overall, the A330neo’s cabin redesign emphasizes comfort, connectivity and a cohesive visual identity that aligns with Condor’s refreshed brand. From direct-access lie-flat seats in business class to expanded legroom and upgraded entertainment in premium economy, the new interiors aim to enhance the onboard experience for leisure and long-haul travelers alike.
