Carnival Cruise Line has partnered with Operation Homefront to launch a yearlong initiative called “Honor. Family. Fun.” The campaign aims to raise funds and awareness to support active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.
The effort includes collaboration with award-winning singer Carrie Underwood, who will host private meet-and-greet events for military families at ten upcoming shows. Underwood will also perform at the signature “Honor. Family. Fun.” event — a private concert aboard the Carnival Vista when the ship begins U.S. sailings on Nov. 4. Carnival will share videos from these events on its website and provide visitors and fans with opportunities to donate to the cause.
In addition to the concert and fundraising activities, Carnival is introducing a shipboard military appreciation program. The program will feature special onboard events and recognition for active-duty military members, their families, and veterans, offering options for relaxation, celebration, and community connection while sailing.
“Military families are a vital part of our nation, and we are proud to join Carrie Underwood and Operation Homefront to bring attention and support to those who serve,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “This partnership will highlight the meaningful stories of our troops while providing them with memorable experiences and a little fun.”
The “Honor. Family. Fun.” campaign combines fundraising, entertainment, and dedicated onboard programming to honor military service and to strengthen support for the families who sacrifice alongside their loved ones. Carnival’s activities under the campaign are designed to both celebrate and assist service members through direct outreach and curated events tailored to their needs.
