Andaz Opens First Hotel in Southeast Asia: What Travelers Need to Know

The Andaz brand has arrived in Southeast Asia with the debut of Andaz Singapore. Located just 20 minutes from Changi Airport and five minutes from the Central Business District, this is the 17th Andaz property and the brand’s first presence in the region.

“We are extremely excited to open Andaz Singapore and to bring the inspirational and creative Andaz brand to Southeast Asia,” said Olivier Lenoir, general manager, Andaz Singapore. “By embracing the local spirit of our surrounding neighborhoods and offering fresh perspectives, Andaz Singapore aims to inspire a sense of discovery.”

Housed within DUO, the striking twin concave towers that are a prominent part of the city skyline, Andaz Singapore features 342 guest rooms, including 26 suites. Each room benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows that provide expansive city views. Guests receive a complimentary minibar curated with local snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, complimentary Wi‑Fi, and access to refreshments at the hotel’s Sunroom.

The hotel’s culinary offerings include Alley on 25, a concept inspired by Singapore’s vibrant street food culture. Alley on 25 brings together seven shophouse-style eateries under one roof, such as Smoke & Pepper for barbecue, Auntie’s Wok & Steam for noodle dishes, Icehouse for shaved ice desserts, and Mr. Stork, which offers panoramic 360-degree views of the city.

For a limited time, World of Hyatt members can take advantage of a special introductory promotion: 20 percent off room rates plus 3,000 World of Hyatt bonus points for every two-night stay. This offer applies to bookings made through January 31, 2018, for stays through April 30, 2018.
