Alexander+Roberts and Oberoi Hotels Offer Luxury Nile Cruise Packages

Alexander+Roberts and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts have joined forces to introduce a distinctive Egyptian Nile cruise, created in response to growing interest in Egypt travel, adventure-focused excursions and compelling river ports of call.

Alexander+Roberts is now offering an exclusive Nile experience aboard the Oberoi Philae, an intimate 44-passenger vessel operated by Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. The Visions of Egypt is a nine-day itinerary that features a four-day cruise on this elegant ship with scheduled calls at Karnak, Luxor, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Aswan and the Valley of the Kings.

The program also includes a visit to the Nubian Museum in Aswan and round-trip flights to Abu Simbel to explore the Temple of Ramses II, providing both cultural depth and convenient travel connections.

Before and after the cruise, guests spend four nights at the Kempinski Nile Hotel in Cairo, with guided excursions to Egypt’s most iconic sites: the Great Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara, Old Cairo and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. These land components complement the river experience, giving travelers a fuller picture of ancient and modern Egypt.

Onboard the Oberoi Philae, staterooms are designed for comfort and light, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, French balconies, complimentary WiFi and a well-stocked minibar. Dining options include an international restaurant for full meals and a relaxed poolside café for lighter fare, allowing guests to tailor their dining to each day’s pace and itinerary.

To maintain an intimate, personalized atmosphere, departures are limited to just 16 guests per sailing. Pricing for the Visions of Egypt itinerary starts at $3,799 per person, covering the curated mix of luxury accommodations, guided excursions and the four-night Nile cruise.
