Airlines for America, the trade association representing major U.S. carriers, has launched a social media campaign called #ThereToHere. The effort highlights the personal connections and meaningful moments that air travel enables by bringing people and cargo from “there” to “here.”
“Every day, 2.1 million passengers and nearly 50,000 tons of cargo travel on U.S. airlines to get to wherever ‘here’ is for them,” said Jean Medina, senior vice president of communications at A4A. “Whether it’s flying to a family gathering, attending a business meeting or ensuring an overnight delivery arrives on time, U.S. airlines help make these moments possible.”
The campaign invites travelers and shippers to share their own stories on social media using the hashtag #ThereToHere. Posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can showcase reunions, business milestones, special deliveries and other occasions made possible by air service across the United States.
By focusing on real-life experiences, #ThereToHere aims to remind the public of the everyday value provided by the aviation industry—linking communities, supporting commerce and connecting people across long distances. The initiative also underscores the scale of U.S. airline operations and their role in moving both passengers and goods efficiently.
Share your moments and follow the conversation with #ThereToHere on social platforms to see how air travel brings people and cargo together, turning distant “there” into meaningful “here.”
