Air Canada is introducing seasonal non-stop service between Toronto Pearson and Atlantic City, NJ. Operated by Air Canada Express (Jazz), the route will offer four round-trip flights per week beginning May 22.
“Air Canada is pleased to be adding Atlantic City to its already extensive U.S. network,” said Benjamin Smith, president of passenger airlines at Air Canada. “This new route gives customers a convenient non-stop option to Atlantic City to enjoy its famed boardwalk, beaches and casinos. It also provides Atlantic City with a direct connection to Air Canada’s Toronto hub, with convenient timing to link to the airline’s broader domestic and international network. Customers will be able to accumulate and redeem Aeroplan miles on these flights.”
The service between Toronto Pearson and Atlantic City International Airport will operate seasonally from May 22 through September 7, 2015, using a 74-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft. Flights are scheduled to facilitate easy connections at Toronto Pearson for onward travel across Canada and beyond, making the route attractive to both leisure travelers heading to Atlantic City and passengers connecting to international flights.
With four weekly round trips, the new link increases travel options for visitors and residents in the Atlantic City area, supporting tourism and business travel during the peak summer season. The Bombardier Q400 provides a comfortable short-haul experience with efficient performance for this regional route, and the service is positioned to coordinate with Air Canada’s overall schedule to minimize connection times.
Passengers planning summer trips can expect direct flight times that accommodate both weekend getaways and longer stays. As with other Air Canada services, travelers can earn and redeem Aeroplan miles on these flights and may benefit from coordinated schedules that align with the carrier’s domestic and international connections at Toronto Pearson.
This seasonal offering reflects Air Canada’s ongoing efforts to expand its U.S. network and respond to demand for direct regional connections. Travelers interested in flying between Toronto and Atlantic City should check Air Canada’s schedules and booking options for exact departure times, fares, and seat availability for the May 22 through September 7 service period.
