Air Canada has launched a new non-stop route between Toronto and Dubai, operating three weekly flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners equipped with the airline’s updated three-class cabin interior.
“Air Canada is very proud to commence service to Dubai from our Toronto global hub at a time of increased travel between North America and the region. By extending our reach with our new non-stop service to Dubai, we are providing customers more convenient options for traveling to the Middle East using the newest, most modern aircraft in our fleet,” said Benjamin Smith, president, passenger airlines, Air Canada.
The Toronto (YYZ)–Dubai (DXB) service offers travelers access to International Business Class with next-generation lie-flat seats, a premium-economy cabin and enhanced in-flight entertainment at every seat. The Dreamliner’s modern cabin and amenities are designed to improve comfort on long-haul routes and provide a seamless travel experience for both leisure and business passengers.
Dubai is the latest addition to Air Canada’s expanding international network. Since December 2014, Air Canada and Air Canada rouge have announced several new long-haul services, including destinations such as Delhi (DEL), Brisbane (BNE), Lyon (LYS), London–Gatwick (LGW), Casablanca (CMN), Prague (PRG), Budapest (BUD), Glasgow (GLA) and Warsaw (WAW).
With this expansion, Air Canada now operates non-stop passenger flights to 63 airports within Canada, 52 destinations in the United States and 86 airports across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America, strengthening its global connectivity and options for travelers.
