Air Canada Expands Flights to Central America: New Routes & Schedules

Air Canada will expand its Central American network with new non-stop service linking Toronto and Panama City starting Dec. 17. With three weekly flights, the carrier becomes the only Canadian airline to offer direct connections between Canada and Panama.

“Air Canada is pleased to be the only Canadian network carrier offering non-stop flights between Canada and Panama. Panama City is a growing and vibrant destination for both business and leisure travelers, and many Canadians own vacation properties in the area,” said Benjamin Smith, executive vice-president and COO of Air Canada.

The route will operate between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Tocumen International Airport using Airbus A319 aircraft configured with two classes of service, providing options for both economy and premium travelers.

This new service strengthens Air Canada’s presence in Central America and provides a convenient, direct option for Canadian travellers visiting Panama for business, tourism, or to reach family and property.
