Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, has announced new international services to begin this summer. The carrier will expand frequencies on several key routes to meet growing demand and strengthen connections between Mexico and major international destinations.
Starting in June and continuing into August, Aeromexico will add a second daily flight between Mexico City and Bogotá, Colombia (BOG). The airline will also increase capacity to São Paulo, Brazil (GRU) by adding two additional frequencies, bringing the total to nine weekly flights on that route. Service to Madrid, Spain (MAD) will be expanded to three weekly flights, resulting in a total of 10 flights per week.
In addition to these frequency increases, Aeromexico will introduce seasonal services beginning in June linking popular Mexican leisure destinations with Los Angeles (LAX). Cancun (CUN) will receive three weekly flights to LAX, and Huatulco (HUX) will be served once weekly on Fridays. These seasonal services will operate using Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured with 160 seats, providing an efficient option for travelers between Mexico’s beach destinations and the U.S. West Coast.
The expanded schedule reflects Aeromexico’s strategy to enhance international connectivity and offer travelers more options for business and leisure travel. By increasing frequencies on high-demand routes and adding targeted seasonal flights, the airline aims to better serve passengers across Latin America, Europe, and North America while optimizing aircraft utilization during peak travel periods.
Passengers planning travel this summer should check flight availability and schedules directly with Aeromexico or through their preferred booking channels to confirm exact days and times, as seasonal timetables and frequency adjustments can vary. These enhancements are part of the carrier’s ongoing efforts to respond to market demand while maintaining a reliable international network.
