ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: Pulling up to the Hyatt Regency Miami after navigating Miami traffic brought an immediate sense of relief. The curved drive welcomed me as attentive valet attendants quickly assisted with luggage and guided me into the expansive lobby. The vibrant space was energized by purple neon lighting on the ceiling. At the front desk I received a warm greeting and an efficient check-in from a friendly staff member who handed me a cold bottle of water and provided clear information for a comfortable stay.

GUEST QUARTERS: My room felt airy and well laid out. To the right was a comfortable sofa and a desk where I set up my laptop using the complimentary WiFi. A Keurig coffee maker and two bottled waters were provided, a thoughtful convenience. To the left I found a large bathroom and beyond it a plush king-sized bed with a white-noise machine on the bedside table. The room also included a roomy walk-in closet and a mini fridge, useful for keeping drinks chilled.
The standout feature was the wall-to-wall oversized windows that frame sweeping views of the Miami River—an impressive backdrop for both sunrise and sunset.

SERVICES/AMENITIES: The property features a heated outdoor pool and a well-equipped 24-hour fitness center. Extensive meeting and event spaces make the hotel suitable for business travelers as well as leisure guests.
Dining options on site include Hyatt Market and Riverview Bar & Grill. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel but enjoyed mojitos at Riverview Bar & Grill while overlooking the river. The next morning I had a satisfying breakfast and grabbed coffee from Hyatt Market before heading out for the day.
