Hyatt Regency Minneapolis now features a dedicated kosher kitchen, including a separate on-site banquet kitchen and a full kosher menu. Under the direction of Executive Chef Aaron Hagerdorn, who follows Orthodox standards in creating kosher dishes, the menu highlights a range of options designed for both groups and individual guests upon prior request. Guests can choose from stations such as a Mediterranean selection with assorted olives, flatbreads, and house-made hummus, in addition to traditional desserts like babkas and rugelach. Custom menus can also be arranged to suit specific needs.
The kosher kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and includes two distinct sets of small kitchen tools and utensils—blenders, food processors, pots, and pans—allowing the hotel to prepare both meat and dairy kosher meals in accordance with required separations. The kitchen and its equipment were blessed by Rabbi Shimon Perez of the Kehila Kashruth of Minnesota.
The Minneapolis hotel provides its extensive kosher offerings for events, banquets, and individual guests, with advance notice requested to ensure proper preparation and service. Whether arranging a group function or requesting a tailored menu, the hotel’s kosher facilities and experienced culinary team are available to accommodate specific dietary requirements and traditional standards.
