JetBlue is expanding its premium Mint Class service in 2018, adding three new domestic destinations and increasing flights on several U.S. and Caribbean routes.
The upgraded service will be offered on flights operated with the airline’s Airbus A321 aircraft. Daily Mint departures will rise to 80 across 20 routes next year. Mint begins on Boston (BOS)–Las Vegas (LAS) on Jan. 4; Boston–Seattle (SEA) on Feb. 15; and New York (JFK)–Seattle on April 15.
“We’re bringing even more Mint to markets in every corner of our route map where travelers are overdue for an upgrade to the so-called ‘first class’ flights offered by other airlines,” said Marty St. George, JetBlue’s executive vice president of commercial and planning.
Additional Mint frequencies launching Jan. 13 include New York–Los Angeles (LAX) and Boston–San Francisco (SFO), along with expanded service to Caribbean destinations: New York–St. Maarten (SXM), Boston–Aruba (AUA) and Boston–St. Maarten beginning Feb. 17. The seasonal Caribbean service will continue through April 2018.
Mint passengers receive lie-flat seats, attentive service, complimentary Fly-Fi, on-demand entertainment, chef-designed dining and thoughtful amenities designed for comfort and rest. The offering also includes expedited check-in, priority security access and early boarding to streamline the travel experience and help customers arrive refreshed.
