Airberlin Expands Routes to Croatia: What Travelers Need to Know

Croatia, a popular holiday destination on the Adriatic Sea, will be added to airberlin’s expanding route network next summer. To meet rising demand for coastal vacations, the German carrier is introducing four new services to the country.

Beginning in mid-May 2016, weekly flights will operate from Berlin (TXL) and Düsseldorf (DUS) to Split (SPU) and Dubrovnik (DBV). From late June, airberlin will add a second weekly service to Split from both Berlin and Düsseldorf. The planned schedule will provide flights every Wednesday and Sunday from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Split, and flights every Saturday to Dubrovnik, supplementing the existing weekly service from Nuremberg (NUE) to Split (SPU).

Croatia offers numerous attractions for travellers, including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Old Town of Dubrovnik, along with scenic beaches, coastal islands and national parks. These features continue to make Croatia a sought-after leisure destination for holidaymakers.
