Korean Air will introduce its new Prestige Suites in the business-class cabin on daily flights between Washington (IAD) and Seoul (ICN) starting in September. The redesigned suite offers a wider 22.5-inch seat and a layout that allows passengers in window seats to reach the aisle without disturbing those seated there, enhancing comfort and convenience for travelers.
Seat pitch on the window side has been extended to 87 inches, providing additional legroom and a more spacious feel. Privacy panels separate each suite; panels on aisle seats are taller to afford greater seclusion when needed. The configuration balances personal space with easy aisle access, making the cabin suitable for both working and resting.
Each suite includes an ottoman that can function as guest seating or a footrest, adding versatility for passengers who travel with companions or prefer extra lounging space. Entertainment has also been upgraded: every seat is fitted with a modern inflight entertainment system featuring a 17-inch touch-screen, delivering a clear, responsive interface for movies, music and other on-demand content.
Overall, the Prestige Suite focuses on privacy, space and modern amenities to improve the long-haul business-class experience. With wider seats, increased pitch, flexible ottomans and a large touch-screen system, Korean Air aims to make transpacific flights between Washington and Seoul more comfortable and productive for business and leisure travelers alike.
