Enhancing service on its long-haul network, Air France now offers La Première and business cabin customers a selection of new à la carte meals accompanied by bespoke tableware.
There are six new dishes available in the La Première cabin and six in the business cabin, covering a variety of culinary traditions including traditional Chinese, Indian flavors, Thai cuisine, Korean dishes and Japanese specialties. A seafood basket option is also offered to complement these new choices.
Passengers can reserve their preferred dish between 90 days and 24 hours before departure. Selections can be made when booking online, in the manage-your-booking section on the Air France website, at Air France ticket offices and call centers, or during online and mobile check-in.
To create a distinctive dining experience, Air France collaborated with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud to develop new tableware for La Première. Massaud designed a complete service of more than 40 original pieces, including Champagne flutes, fine Bernardaud porcelain plates and Christofle cutlery. The custom collection is subtly watermarked with the winged seahorse, the emblem of Air France’s La Première brand, for a refined finish.
In the business cabin, table settings feature Guy Degrenne porcelain, thin glassware and Christofle steel cutlery selected to convey a sense of lightness and flight.
Air France also partners with leading French chefs to create exclusive dishes for La Première and business menus on long-haul departures from Paris. Premium passengers have recently enjoyed gourmet creations from celebrated chefs such as Joël Robuchon, Guy Martin, Michel Roth, Thibaut Ruggeri, Régis Marcon and Anne-Sophie Pic.
