Norwegian Adds Extra Winter Flights to the Caribbean in 2026

This winter, Norwegian Airlines is expanding service to the Caribbean to meet demand from travelers looking to trade cold, snowy weather for sun and warm beaches. Building on strong performance on existing winter routes between the United States and the French Caribbean, the carrier will add new seasonal flights linking Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (Guadeloupe) with U.S. gateways in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and New York (JFK).

Starting December 17, Norwegian will operate twice-weekly flights between Fort Lauderdale and Guadeloupe and a weekly flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport and Guadeloupe. In addition, the airline will resume earlier seasonal service in November on routes from Boston (BOS), Baltimore (BWI) and New York to both Guadeloupe and Martinique (FDF), beginning sooner in the season than in prior years.

One-way fares will begin at $79, with round-trip fares modestly higher. Increased capacity on these routes, along with competition from other carriers such as Air France, will give travelers more options for departure dates and connections when planning winter getaways from the United States to the Caribbean.

The expanded schedule reflects Norwegian’s strategy to grow its leisure network during peak winter travel months and to provide affordable, convenient links between U.S. cities and French Caribbean destinations. Passengers can expect more flexible travel windows and greater frequency on key routes, making it easier to find flights that fit holiday and winter-break plans.

These seasonal additions aim to capture demand from both leisure travelers and those seeking longer stays in tropical destinations throughout the winter. By increasing service to Guadeloupe and Martinique and reintroducing earlier seasonal departures from several U.S. cities, Norwegian enhances connectivity and choice for anyone planning a Caribbean escape this winter.
