Ken Fulk-Designed Suites and Venues Debut at Four Seasons Boston

Renowned designer Ken Fulk has completed an artful redesign of key public spaces at Four Seasons Hotel Boston, transforming the lobby, porte cochere and other guest areas into a refined, intimate environment inspired by the city’s history and landscape.

Guests arrive to a refreshed courtyard that echoes the proportions and detail of a stately Boston residence. Inside, the lobby lounge has been reimagined as a collection of smaller, comfortable settings. The front desk is wrapped in tooled leather and positioned beneath expansive original artwork depicting the Boston Public Garden across the street. A mural featuring a swan incorporates a playful detail: one swan holds a key to a hidden “mystery” closet adjacent to the desk. Young visitors receive a kids-only key on arrival, inviting them to choose toys to enjoy during their stay.

Event facilities have been refreshed to support a range of gatherings. The 3,700-square-foot Ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows with views over the Boston Public Garden. Additional options include the Aujourd’hui Event Space with a private lounge, plus a new Sanctuary: a secluded garden courtyard designed for cocktail receptions, intimate weddings and private celebrations.

Fulk’s design for Coterie restaurant and lounge creates an intimate, club-like atmosphere that nods to Boston’s tradition of thinkers and creatives gathering to exchange ideas. The restaurant and bar are open daily for lunch, dinner and evening service. For lighter moments, Sottovento offers complimentary coffee, tea and beverages each morning, while a new Coffee Concierge service enables convenient morning orders for guests. On every guest floor, The Vaults refreshment pantries are stocked with snacks, treats and beverages available 24 hours a day at no charge.
