2024 Michelin Guide: Top Dubai Restaurants & Where to Dine

The third edition of the Michelin Guide Dubai was revealed last week, highlighting a mix of long-established favorites and recently opened restaurants across the city. The 2024 guide features 106 restaurants chosen by Michelin’s anonymous inspectors, reflecting Dubai’s growing reputation as a major culinary destination.

The 2024 selection includes four two-Michelin-starred restaurants and 15 one-Michelin-starred restaurants, with four establishments newly awarded stars this year. Dubai also welcomes three restaurants awarded the Michelin Green Star, recognizing sustainable practices, and 18 venues listed as Bib Gourmand for offering excellent value and quality. In total, the guide represents 35 different types of cuisine, underscoring the city’s diverse dining scene.

One of the most notable upgrades saw Row on 45 at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, become the fourth restaurant in Dubai to receive two Michelin stars. Led by Chef Jason Atherton, Row on 45 offers a 17-course tasting menu that emphasizes creativity and high-quality ingredients in a refined fine-dining setting.

Joining Row on 45 among the two-star establishments are Il Ristorante Niko Romito, STAY by Yannick Alléno and Trèsind Studio. The one-star list includes well-known names such as 11 Woodfire, Hakkasan, Ossiano, Torno Subito and Armani Ristorante. At Ossiano, diners can enjoy elevated dishes by Chef Grégoire Berger alongside dramatic, floor-to-ceiling views into a large aquarium, creating a memorable dining atmosphere.

Sagetsu

New additions to the two-star category include Sagetsu by Tetsuya, Smoked Room, Orfali Bros and La Dame de Pic Dubai. Sagetsu by Tetsuya, located at One&Only One Za’abeel, showcases Chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s modern Japanese cuisine with seasonally driven plates, an extensive sake selection and a focus on refined technique. The guide’s Green Star recipients, recognized for sustainability and responsible practices, include Boca, LOWE and Teible.

Several restaurants earned Bib Gourmand recognition for delivering great food at good value. Among them are 21 Grams, Aamara, Bait Maryam and Goldfish. Newly listed Bib Gourmand venues include Konjiki Hototogisu, Revelry, DUO Gastrobar, Hoe Lee Kow and Berenjak, reflecting the guide’s attention to both fine dining and approachable, high-quality eateries.
