Celebrate Bourbon Heritage at InterContinental Los Angeles — Tasting Event

In honor of National Bourbon Heritage Month in September, InterContinental Los Angeles is presenting an exclusive bourbon blend available only at the hotel.

The property collaborated with Angel’s Envy—renowned for its high-rated bourbons and led by master distiller Lincoln Henderson—to create a bespoke expression through the distillery’s “Art of Blending” program.

During September, the hotel’s lobby lounge is pouring the custom InterContinental Los Angeles blend alongside Angel’s Envy’s celebrated Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in port wine barrels and its Rye finished in carefully selected Caribbean rum casks. Guests may purchase a bottle of the limited InterContinental blend for $65.

To complement the spirits, Executive Chef Jonathan Wood has prepared a selection of dishes designed to pair with bourbon, including bourbon-glazed crawfish with dirty rice and maple bacon donuts.

Visitors are invited to join Angel’s Envy’s “Toast the Trees” social media initiative by posting a photo of an Angel’s Envy cocktail or bottle with the hashtag #AE4TheTrees. For each use of the hashtag during the month, Angel’s Envy will plant one white oak tree to help address the current barrel wood shortage.
