Ritz-Carlton San Francisco and Veuve Clicquot Open Solaire Terrasse

The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco has teamed with Veuve Clicquot to introduce Solaire Terrasse featuring Veuve Clicquot, a seasonal food and beverage program running this summer and fall.

To mark Veuve Clicquot’s 250th anniversary, guests can enjoy a curated selection of Veuve Clicquot Champagne in The Terrace Courtyard, which overlooks the San Francisco skyline. By the glass or bottle, offerings include Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Veuve Clicquot Non-Vintage Rosé and La Grande Dame, plus a variety of Champagne cocktails.

Suggested pairings available at Solaire Terrasse include:

  • Seafood Tower for Two ($160, exclusive of tax and gratuity) — six jumbo Gulf prawns, one pound of Alaskan snow crab legs, half a dozen Beausoleil oysters and two Maine lobster tails on crushed ice with cocktail sauce, house hot sauce, fresh lemon, Marie Rose sauce and mignonette. Served with an assortment of Acme Bread, cultured butter, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic.
  • Seafood Tower for Two with Caviar ($335, exclusive of tax and gratuity) — the Seafood Tower for Two with the addition of one ounce of Private Label Imperial Osetra caviar and traditional accompaniments, plus potato chips and toast points.
  • Gelato Festival Cart — an assortment of World Master–winning gelatos, with flavors such as salted caramel, vanilla and vegan options selected from a dedicated menu.

Solaire Terrasse featuring Veuve Clicquot operates in The Terrace Courtyard through Sept. 30, Thursday through Sunday from 1–6 p.m., weather permitting. Reservations are available through the hotel’s dining events page.

In addition to the Champagne program, the hotel has established a Chef’s Herb Garden in The Terrace Courtyard. The garden supplies fresh herbs and plants—such as purple blue lavender, opal basil, chocolate mint, golden sage and shiso—that will be incorporated into new seasonal dishes and cocktails, enhancing the menu with vibrant, aromatic ingredients.
