Ritz-Carlton Debuts Luxury Hotel in Kazakhstan’s Capital

The Ritz-Carlton has opened its first hotel in Kazakhstan, located in Almaty, the country’s largest city. The property occupies part of the 37-story Esentai Tower, one of Central Asia’s tallest buildings, and is integrated into the Capital Partners’ Esentai Park development, which includes an extensive shopping mall. The hotel offers 145 guestrooms and over 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers.

Bringing The Ritz-Carlton to Almaty expands the brand’s presence in a key regional gateway. Herve Humler, president and chief operating officer of The Ritz-Carlton, said the opening complements the company’s global portfolio and provides a luxury option for guests visiting Kazakhstan. The Ritz-Carlton brand continues to operate properties across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.

The location within Esentai Tower gives guests direct access to Esentai Park’s retail, dining and entertainment offerings, making the hotel well suited for travelers who want a combination of high-end accommodations and convenient urban amenities. With substantial meeting space and contemporary services, the hotel is positioned to serve corporate events, social gatherings and international visitors to Almaty.

Visitors interested in learning more about Almaty or recent developments from the brand may find related coverage and context useful for planning a stay or understanding the city’s growing hospitality scene.
