Art! Vancouver 2018 (April 19–22)
Art! Vancouver 2018 is an international art fair that brings together galleries and artists from Canada and abroad. For the Left Hand Alone (April 6–May 27)
In this exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery, Vancouver artist Karilynn Ming Ho investigates phantom limb syndrome as a metaphor for contemporary perception. The show examines fragmented realities shaped by digital culture, using installation, video and mixed media to explore absence, memory and the ways technology alters bodily and emotional experience.
BC Artists: The Gay Sim Donation (Jan. 23–May 6)
Presented at the National Gallery of Canada, this exhibition highlights a significant donation of books, periodicals and publications related to Western Canadian artists. The Gay Sim Donation enriches the Gallery’s Library and Archives and offers insights into the history, networks and practices of artists from British Columbia, making archival materials accessible to researchers and the public.
