Designed to evoke the charm and rhythm of a Caribbean village, the new Six Senses La Sagesse on Grenada’s Spice Island opens this May and will be the brand’s first resort in the Caribbean. The property features 56 pool suites with open-plan bedrooms, each opening onto an outdoor terrace and private plunge pool, offering a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
In addition to the pool suites, Six Senses La Sagesse includes 15 private villas ranging from one- to four-bedroom layouts, situated on both hillsides and beachfront settings. The five largest villas occupy a bluff with landscaped gardens and expansive views of the coastline. These villas combine privacy with convenient access to the resort’s restaurants and amenities.

Culinary offerings highlight Caribbean and South American flavors. SeaFire, the signature restaurant, showcases a Raw Bar and a wood-fire grill. Callaloo serves farm-to-table all-day dining with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Poolside Panquai Breeze Bar celebrates churrasco—the South American tradition of grilling meat on long skewers—paired with a selection of Grenadian rums and tropical cocktails. Families will appreciate Scoop, where complimentary shaved ice or ice cream is available throughout the day.
Spa at La Sagesse occupies a tranquil lagoon-front setting and is designed to blend traditional Caribbean elements with cutting-edge wellness. The spa’s upper floor houses a gym and a yoga pavilion with views of the lush landscape, and a 2,000-square-foot fitness area that includes studios for spinning, cycling, yoga and aerial yoga.

The spa’s lower level offers single treatment rooms, a hammam and two couples’ suites each with private relaxation areas; one suite features an Alchemy Bar. Treatments incorporate Caribbean traditions and locally grown spices that have been cultivated in Grenada for centuries. These ingredients complement a spa menu that pairs traditional therapies with high-tech wellness offerings such as sleep tracking, biohacking and personalized programs lasting three to seven nights. Outdoors, a communal wet area includes a sauna, hot pool, cold plunge and a Kneipp therapy pool.
The resort’s Experience Center curates island excursions and activities to help guests explore Grenada. Start in the capital, St. George’s, known for one of the Caribbean’s most picturesque waterfronts: a vibrant, horseshoe-shaped harbor lined with boats and historic sites. Grand Etang National Park is a nearby rainforest rich in biodiversity and home to the island’s national bird, the Grenada Dove, as well as species such as the Mona monkey, mongoose and nine-banded armadillo. Visitors can choose from short nature walks to more challenging guided climbs to Mount Qua Qua or the crater lake at Grand Etang.
Grenada is also recognized for its marine attractions, often called the Shipwreck Capital of the Caribbean. The surrounding waters host numerous sunken ships, colorful reefs and a unique underwater sculpture park, making snorkeling and diving popular pursuits for guests.
