When the Fort Island expansion at Madinat Jumeirah opens in October 2015, it will become the largest hotel event space in the United Arab Emirates. Spanning nearly 20,000 square feet, the venue has tripled its original size and can host up to 1,400 guests for a cocktail reception or between 250 and 1,100 guests for banquet-style events.

The venue has been rebuilt to accommodate large marquees and offers flexible space suitable for every type of occasion.”
The expanded Fort Island combines a sustainable landscape design with the fort’s traditional aesthetic. Situated in the heart of the resort and framed by Madinat Jumeirah’s signature waterways, the venue provides striking views of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Inspired by Al Fahidi Fort in Dubai’s historic creek district, the design pays homage to the history, culture and character of old Dubai while delivering modern amenities required for large-scale events.
