Royal Air Maroc Celebrates 5 Years in oneworld, Boosting USA‑Africa Connectivity

Royal Air Maroc marks its fifth year as a member of the oneworld alliance. Since joining in April 2020, the airline has shown resilience through the COVID-19 pandemic, improving its digital services, expanding its route network and positioning itself for growth. RAM plans to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft by 2037, reinforcing its role as a major carrier connecting Africa with the rest of the world.

Expanding Horizons: New Routes and the Return of Key Destinations
RAM is strengthening its global network with new direct flights to Toronto (YYZ) and Naples (NAP). The airline has also resumed services to São Paulo (GRU) and Manchester (MAN), further establishing Casablanca as a strategic hub linking North America, South America, Europe and Africa.

A notable milestone is the relaunch of direct flights to Beijing (PKX) on January 20, 2025. Restoring this route reconnects China and Africa, supporting trade, tourism and business ties. The Casablanca–Beijing service underscores RAM’s commitment to expanding intercontinental connectivity.

A Future-Focused Airline with a Vision for Growth
Royal Air Maroc continues to innovate and expand operations while aligning with oneworld’s emphasis on sustainability, service quality and network connectivity. As RAM celebrates five years with oneworld, it remains dedicated to enhancing the passenger experience and growing its global footprint.

Looking forward, RAM plans to play an increasingly important role in African aviation through participation in oneworld-wide sustainability initiatives, closer collaboration with alliance partners at co-located hubs and continued digital innovations to simplify travel for passengers.
