Guestrooms and suites are appointed with bespoke furnishings and original Nova Scotia artwork, many offering expansive views of the harbor and coastline. The design blends contemporary comfort with local character to create a welcoming base for exploring Halifax and its surroundings.
On the hotel’s first floor, Drift presents modern interpretations of Atlantic Canadian cuisine, with sweeping views of the harbor and the nearby Tidal Beacon art installation. For a more intimate evening, BKS is a hidden speakeasy reserved for hotel guests, serving craft cocktails and small plates with views of the city skyline.
Beyond dining, Muir provides a comprehensive set of amenities for leisure and adventure. The hotel features a full wellness center with a vitality spa pool, fitness facilities and studio classes. Its waterfront position enables direct access to kayaking and scenic cycling routes along the water.
Muir also offers curated experiences under The Luxury Collection’s signature programs. Destination Discovery itineraries include private air-and-sea excursions to Cape Breton Highlands, while True Colours— the hotel’s private art gallery—hosts guided conversations that highlight regional artists and stories. The hotel’s private yacht and motorboat program gives guests on-water options for exploring the Atlantic coastline.
