Beginning June 28 and continuing through the end of August, the resort’s outdoor Olympic pool will host an innovative Friday night program that combines yoga with stand-up paddleboarding. The activity blends low-impact fitness with the calm of the pool and is aimed at guests seeking a restorative evening experience.
For outdoor-adventure seekers, Alpinzentrum Gstaad offers a wide range of summer pursuits, including wakeboarding, canyoning and river rafting. Tennis players can time their visit to coincide with one of the resort’s tennis weeks, led by multi–Grand Slam champion Roy Emerson, offering coaching and match play for various levels.
Car enthusiasts have a highlight to look forward to as well: the ninth annual Gstaad Palace Challenge, taking place Aug. 30–Sept. 1, will feature a classic sports car rally showcasing vintage vehicles and offering hotel guests the chance to participate or enjoy the spectacle.
Dining options include Le Grand Restaurant’s Swiss BBQ Brunch, served on a newly renovated terrace every Sunday, combining regional flavors with scenic views. After dark, guests can visit GreenGo, the hotel’s on-site nightclub, for late-night music and socializing.

In a move toward greater sustainability, Gstaad Palace has partnered with Wili Wili Tree, a company producing eco-friendly backpacks. Guests will be able to borrow these backpacks for hikes and outdoor excursions around the region. “In Wili Wili Tree, we have found an innovative team who share our standards with regard to quality and design and will help us take another step towards a more sustainable future,” said Andrea Scherz, general manager and owner of Gstaad Palace.
The resort will also celebrate Swiss National Day on Aug. 1 with an evening of drinks, live music and a fireworks finale to mark Switzerland’s 733rd anniversary.
