Austin will welcome a new Delta Sky Club at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in spring 2019.
“From our strong operational performance to adding new routes, Delta is committed to serving the residents and business community of Austin,” said Erik Snell, vice president — operations & customer center, Delta Air Lines. “As a part of the airline’s efforts to enhance customers’ experience in Austin, this Club will give guests a new space where they can relax during their travel.”
The 9,000-square-foot lounge, located near Delta gates, will showcase local beer and food, a full-service bar with complimentary beverages, regional artwork, design elements that reflect Austin’s personality, an outdoor patio and high-speed WiFi.
“With this new, locally inspired club, we are looking forward to bringing the unmatched Delta Sky Club experience and service to our guests in Austin,” said Claude Roussel, managing director, Delta Sky Club. “Whether guests want to chat on the Sky Deck or relax with a glass of wine at the bar, there will be a variety of experiences to choose from and enjoy while visiting this Club.”
The club aims to offer travelers a comfortable, modern respite from the busy terminal, combining local flavors and art with the amenities frequent flyers expect. The outdoor patio provides a fresh-air option, while the Sky Deck invites conversation and a view of the tarmac. Inside, guests can expect efficient seating areas, power outlets for devices, reliable high-speed WiFi and a selection of complimentary snacks and beverages curated with local partners.
Delta’s investment in a club tailored to Austin reflects the airline’s broader strategy to improve customer service and airport facilities in growing markets. By blending practical amenities with local touches—regional craft beers, art from area creators and design features inspired by the city—the new Sky Club seeks to be both functional and welcoming for business and leisure travelers alike.
Beyond amenities, the lounge is designed to streamline the travel experience. Dedicated spaces accommodate quiet work, informal meetings and relaxation, while staff focus on attentive service to help guests make the most of their time before flights. With its convenient location near Delta gates, the club is intended to minimize connection time and provide an easy retreat for those awaiting departures.
Opening in spring 2019, the Austin Sky Club will be part of Delta’s expanding network of premium spaces across its route system, offering members and eligible customers a consistent level of comfort, convenience and hospitality. For travelers in Austin, the new lounge promises a thoughtfully curated environment that highlights local culture while delivering the Delta Sky Club standards passengers expect.
