Save on Hotel Stays: New OpenTable Perk for Members

OpenTable now lets members redeem OpenTable Dining Points for savings on hotel bookings. Members can apply points to receive discounts ranging from $20 to $200 at more than 400,000 hotels listed on KAYAK.

Members earn OpenTable Dining Points by making reservations and honoring them. Points can also be used for savings at roughly 20,000 participating restaurants. To check and use points, visit your OpenTable profile page. At this time, the hotel savings option is available to members who have accumulated more than 2,000 points.

“OpenTable diners are avid travelers, so we are excited to offer a Dining Reward that will help them save on their next trip,” said Steve Hafner, CEO of KAYAK. Both KAYAK and OpenTable are brands within Booking Holdings, and this benefit is part of an effort to create shared value for users who enjoy dining and travel.

“This will be the first of several additional ways that OpenTable users will be able to redeem their Dining Points,” said Joseph Essas, CTO of OpenTable. The company plans to introduce more redemption options in the near future to expand the Dining Rewards program.
